Job Summary: The Quality Specialist is responsible for compliance of regulatory labeling as well as monitoring the adherence to companywide quality control standards.

This position is a second shift position but will be trained on first shift for the first few months and then moved to second after training is complete.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the company’s mission and beliefs.

2. Responsible for Food Regulatory Labeling Requirements, maintains ESHA records to support Government label compliance standards.

3. Ensuring Trophy Nut personnel are adhering to all quality specifications.

4. Ability to create, review, update, and approve product spec sheets and label, copy, and design to ensure information is accurate, meets customer requirements, and is compliant with Government Regulation and Trophy Nut Policy.

5. Identifies and improves processes to increase efficiency and minimize mistakes.

6. Maintain document integrity within our system by making sure all programs and files are updated and accurate.

7. Working with Product Development team to make sure all requests are met, timely and efficiently.

8. Work directly with FS Manager for any quality department assignments and individual projects as needed.

Qualifications

1. Experience with Quality in a Manufacturing Environment

2. Knowledge of FDA Food Labeling Regulations and comfort with regulatory interpretation preferred.

3. Demonstration of working with ESHA Food Labeling programs or similar labeling programs, such as Easy Label and ProCode.

4. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
